For Cute Potato #1’s class Valentine’s Day party, we decided to make our own lollipop valentines. Sure, a card is fun, but candy and a card… even better! We traced our hearts using a heart-shaped cookie cutter on Martha Stewart scrapbooking paper, although any heavy cardstock will do. Next, we cut out the paper hearts and taped them to the flat-side of our lollipops (we found traditional, red lollipops at our local grocery store). Then CP #1 added sparkly letter stickers with her classmates’ initials to the paper hearts, and Momma Potato tied a grosgrain ribbon bow to each for a finishing touch. So easy! We can’t wait to give them to the kids at school tomorrow.
