If you know our family, you know we’re big seltzer drinkers. So you can imagine our delight when we discovered Green Bee, a Brunswick, Maine-based soda company, recently launched a new line of sparkling water. These unsweetened drinks are infused with fresh squeezed juice, so you get lots of great flavor without added sugar. Sparkling water fans can choose from wild blueberry, tangy lemon and a zippy ginger. These great flavors sound especially enticing with the warmer days coming our way!
Like so many parents, Chris Kinkade — Green Bee owner and father of three— understands that sugary drinks are a constant temptation for kids. So in addition to developing unsweetened sparkling waters, Chris also created sodas that are naturally sweetened with honey. Unlike most commercial sodas, Green Bee sodas have ingredients you can pronounce. Their first —Lemon Sting—is made of carbonated water, honey, lemon juice and rosemary. That’s it! We like having these sodas on hand for parties, especially when the kids are in search of a special drink to call their own.
Best of all, Green Bee supports bees and the sustainability of hives, so this is a drink you can feel good about!
We’re thrilled to have Green Bee as blog sponsors this month! You can find their sparkling waters and sodas at restaurants and natural food stores throughout the state. Curious to learn more about Green Bee? Visit here.
