The Maine Play Book: What’s Inside

MP always forgets how busy May and June can be. It feels as though our family has been living on recreational fields. We’re regularly driving back and forth to practices, to lacrosse and baseball games, and trying to stay on top of work and home life. Summer break and all of its pleasures— from lazy afternoons on the beach to barbecues with friends— couldn’t come soon enough. And of course, MP can’t wait to share her new book, “The Maine Play Book,” and its fun outdoor adventures with families around the state. If you’re curious, here’s a peek inside its pages:

While visitors love to explore Maine in the summer months, the book covers all of the seasons. MP hopes you’ll find an adventure that inspires you in any kind of weather.

MP loves that this guidebook has bold color photos. What better way to get a sense of a place than to see it in color.

The back of the book offers a full monthly calendar of events, a handy list of what’s in season at local farms, favorite swimming spots throughout the state, and all of the places we like to explore outdoors.
